I've wanted to blog about the launch of Dorothy Perkins plus size range, DP Curve ever since it launched but I've been ill and unable to shoot outside for ages. I am feeling a lot better now so I braved the rain and headed out to have some outfit pics taken.

Dorothy Perkins recently branched out into the world of plus and I couldn't be happier. I used to wear Dotty P's throughout my teenage years and loved their smart/casual clothes. This first drop is full of work wear classics, a nod the the 70s with a perfect button down skirt and some beautiful dresses like this check tunic dress and this nude and black pleated dress. The range runs from an 18 - 28 and I'm looking forward to watching the range grow each season. I will be on the look out for more colour and Dorothy Perkins' signature embellishments.

As you may have noticed over the years; I love to wear androgynous outfits just as much as my super femme outfits. I was lucky enough to pick some pieces from Dotty P's range and I chose these zip front treggings and this sleeveless duster jacket with the intention of giving them a masculine edge. Paired with a pussy bow shirt and a pointed boot; I feel like this outfit is the perfect mix of masculine and feminine.

I love a monochrome look and feel like it's a timeless combo. Keep your eyes peeled for two more monochrome looks here on the blog in the coming weeks.
